Iran's Safir rocket attempted to launch the Dousti remote-sensing microsatellite, roughly 52 kg, but the vehicle failed shortly after liftoff and did not reach orbit. It was Iran's second satellite launch failure in a month, following the Payam mission on the Simorgh rocket.
