Drawing of the Proton-K/DM-2M for Echostar IV

Launched the EchoStar 4 direct-broadcast satellite from Baikonur for EchoStar/PanAmSat. After reaching geostationary orbit, two panels on one solar array failed to unfold, crippling much of its transponder capacity for years; the array spontaneously deployed in 2004.
