Second Commercial Titan III flight carried Intelsat 603, but a wiring error kept the second stage from separating, stranding the satellite in a useless low orbit. Space Shuttle Endeavour's STS-49 crew later captured it, attached a new kick motor, and boosted it to its intended geostationary transfer orbit.
