Molniya-1 No.2, the first attempt to orbit a Soviet Molniya-class high-elliptical communications satellite. Molniya 8K78 from Baikonur failed on 4 June 1964 when the core Block A throttle jammed closed about 104 seconds after liftoff, destroying the vehicle downrange.
