Vega

Vega is Europe's small launcher, built by Avio in Italy and flown from Kourou since 2012. Three solid stages and a restartable liquid upper stage place Earth observation and science satellites in polar orbits, among them ESA's Sentinel satellites and LISA Pathfinder. The larger Vega-C follows in 2022.
