DFH-2A 5

Long March 3Xichang Satellite Launch Center, People's Republic of China
Drawing of the Long March 3 for DFH-2A 5

Carried the DFH-2A-4 (ChinaSat 4) domestic communications satellite toward geostationary transfer orbit. The third-stage engine lost turbine speed and combustion pressure during its second burn and shut down early due to a helium pressure fault, leaving the satellite in a degraded transfer orbit.
