Drawing of the Diamant A for Diademe D-1C

Diadème 1 (D-1C), a French CNES geodesy satellite with laser reflectors and radio beacons. Diamant A from Hammaguir (Brigitte) launched it on 8 February 1967; third-stage underperformance left a lower-than-planned orbit (partial failure), but the spacecraft still returned useful data.
