OV1-3, a USAF Orbiting Vehicle 1 research satellite carrying radiation and tissue-equivalent dosimetry experiments. Atlas D OV1 from Vandenberg ABRES-B3 failed on 28 May 1965 when the booster exploded about two minutes after liftoff, destroying the payload.
