Delta II 7425 launched NASA's CONTOUR (Comet Nucleus Tour) spacecraft, a Discovery-program probe designed to fly by comets Encke, Schwassmann-Wachmann 3, and d'Arrest for high-resolution imaging. The launch succeeded, but CONTOUR was lost in August 2002 during its solid-motor burn to leave Earth orbit.
