Third test flight of Russia's Angara A5 heavy-lift rocket, debuting the new Persei upper stage with a 2,400 kg dummy payload. Persei's second burn cut off after two seconds, stranding the payload in a low 201 x 179 km orbit instead of geostationary; the stage reentered uncontrolled on January 5, 2022.
