Falcon Heavy launched NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope from Pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center on a direct trajectory to the Sun-Earth L2 point, 1.5 million kilometers away. The 2.4-meter observatory will survey dark energy, dark matter, and exoplanets, with a census expected to find on the order of 100,000 new worlds. Both side boosters landed back at Kennedy Space Center.
