ISRO's 20th GSLV flight (GSLV-F18) placed the 2,250 kg NVS-03 next-generation NavIC satellite into geosynchronous transfer orbit from Sriharikota. NVS-03 carries an indigenous atomic clock and L1, L5 and S-band signals, restoring the four-satellite minimum for standalone NavIC positioning after NVS-02's January 2025 failure.
